Attorney Chris Van Wagner Representing
All charges against Cherie Barnard were dismissed today after 18 months of aggressive defense by attorney Chris Van Wagner.
Rusk County district attorney Kathleen Pakes accussed Cherie Barnard of being an accessory to murder and charged her with first-degree intentional homicide for the murder of Robert Pfeil, a murder that occured nearly 30 years ago, but abandoned those charges one week before trial when she realized she lacked evidence to prove the charges.
