Sutter of Mount Horeb, Wisconsin Was Found Not Guilty by a Wisconsin Circuit Court Jury (Madison Dane County WI)MADISON WI September 6, 2007, 3:30 PM CTA Mount Horeb, Wisconsin man accused of two counts of second degree sexual assault has been found not guilty. Forty-four year old Robert G. Sutter pled not guilty in March to two felony counts charging that he engaged in repeated acts of sexual assault against two teen females [Wisconsin law, second degree sexual assault]. The teenage females claimed that he had touched them inappropriately on numerous occasions over a period of years. Sutter was represented at trial by criminal defense attorney Christopher T. Van Wagner, Van Wagner & Wood, S.C., Madison, Wisconsin (vanwagnerwood.com). After the not guilty verdict, Sutter's attorney, Chris Van Wagner, said that Sutter was grateful for the verdict exonerating him, and that he was relieved that the nightmare was over. Sutter, who had not been allowed to see his two young sons since he was accused, is hoping to get back together with them soon.
